How to read our Tattoo numbers
There can be six numbers or as few as 4 in the tattoo number. We will use as few as possible so there are fewer marks to heal. In a six number tatoo for example 071201 The first two digits is the year, the 3rd and 4th digits is the month the 5th and 6th digits are the number of the pups tattooed that month.
In a 4 digit tattoo 7059 the 1st digit is the year, the 2nd and 3rd digits is the month, the 4th digit is the number of the pup tatooed that month.
